Actually this painting is located in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. It is entitled "The Storm" and was painted by Pierre Auguste Cott. It is an absolutely beautiful painting. I have spent many a moment standing in front of it. Beautiful! My heroes have always been the old Masters.
